Counsellor

Bachelor of Education (Special Education), in the final stages of completing a Master of Counselling

I am a counsellor who walks alongside clients of all ages, offering a warm and compassionate space where you can feel seen, heard, and unconditionally accepted. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where you should feel free to bring whatever challenges you are facing, and process them at your own pace. My goal is to provide gentle guidance that helps you navigate life’s complexities and work toward your personal goals, in alignment with your own deeply held values.

I operate from a deeply person-centred philosophy, viewing every individual holistically and with inherent worth. My approach is practical, nurturing, and tailored entirely to your unique needs. Together, we will translate therapeutic insights into meaningful, everyday steps that foster healing, growth, and a greater sense of peace.

How I Can Help

  • Individual counselling using evidence-based, tailored approaches such as:
    • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
    • Schema-Informed Therapy
    • Play-Based and Developmentally Appropriate Therapies
  • Holistic Family Support that considers the whole child and their unique environment, helping parents understand early childhood development and cultivate deeper connection and harmony at home.
  • Individualised and Alternative Educational Strategies designed to support diverse learning and developmental needs, ensuring therapeutic concepts are accessible and practical for daily life.

Experience

My extensive background in special education and early childhood development provides me with a profound understanding of how a child’s broader environment shapes their well-being. I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families navigating neurodiversity, developmental differences, and emotional or behavioural challenges. This rich experience allows me to bring a highly nuanced, holistic perspective to my clinical practice, ensuring that every client receives the individualised care and gentle guidance they need to thrive.
