Provisional Psychologist
Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), Bachelor of Science (Psychology)
I am a provisional psychologist who works with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship difficulties, family violence, substance use, and emotional wellbeing concerns. My goal is to offer a steady, supportive space where you feel respected, understood, and able to explore change at your own pace.
I place strong value on the therapeutic relationship and see counselling as a collaborative process built on trust, openness, and respect for your lived experience. I recognise that every person and family system carries its own strengths, history, and meaning, even in the midst of significant difficulty.
My practice is grounded in a trauma-informed and evidence-based approach. I have a warm, transparent, and practical style, while working alongside you to make sense of patterns, strengthen relationships, and support meaningful and sustainable change.
How I Can Help
- Individual and family counselling
- Support for people affected by family and domestic violence
- Evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing
Experience
I have worked across public and non-government services for over 11 years, supporting people experiencing complex trauma, relationship breakdown, family violence, and substance use concerns. My experience includes counselling, crisis intervention, case management and risk assessment across alcohol and other drug, family violence, child and family, and corrective services settings. I am currently completing a Master of Professional Psychology.
